FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

UCSCLOGE is a community website focused for the undergraduates of the UCSC. It encourages the healthy involvement of undergraduates from both internal degrees and provides a common medium for them to interact and share knowledge. UCSCLODGE also provides an interface to the people outside of UCSC (for e.g. Past students of the institute) to enable them to contribute to the welfare of the current undergraduates of UCSC.

There are a lot of services currently lined up in the UCSCLODGE website. Primarily, everyone can register in the website and can contribute to the forums that are established within it. Forums will provide you the opportunity to share knowledge and of course, to clarify any questions you may have, academic related or non-academic. UCSCLODGE is in the early process of building up a good job vacancies database and this can assist a lot of the students who are willing to enter the industry towards the end of their academic matters.

We are still in the early stages of developing this website and will have a lot to tune up as we go along. Especially, we have experienced problems in several web browsers when trying to get a consistant look and feel. For the time being, we would encourage you to use Firefox browser to open UCSCLODGE as this was the browser that was heavily tested and the one that works fine with all the features.

Your feedback is very important to us for fine tuning this website. If you find a bug while you are in the website or if you think something should change in the website, please let us know. We will act immediately to take your changes into account. You can do so either by posting in the allocated space in the forum for the site's improvements (Requests & Suggestions section down at the bottom) or by sending an email to administrator@ucsclodge.lk
